An affirmative result of the open question on determining function jumps by spline wavelets
The aim of this paper is to study an open question from [\textit{X. Shi} and \textit{L. Hu}, Sci. China, Ser. A 52, No. 3, 443--456 (2009; Zbl 1176.42004)] concerning determination of jumps for non-periodic functions. In fact, the authors prove an analogue of the result with the Shannon wavelet of [\textit{X. L. Shi} and \textit{W. Wang}, Acta Math. Hung. 134, No. 4, 439--451 (2012; Zbl 1299.42012)] for the case with the spline wavelet (constructed in [\textit{C. K. Chui} and \textit{J. Wang}, Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 330, No. 2, 903--915 (1992; Zbl 0759.41008)]).
