Entire nodal solutions to the pure critical exponent problem for the \(p\)-Laplacian

Abstract: We establish the existence of multiple sign-changing solutions to the quasilinear critical problem -Delta_{p} u=|u|^{p^*-2}u, qquad uin D^{1,p}(mathbb{R}^{N}), for Ngeq4, where Deltapu:=mathrmdiv(|ablau|p−2ablau) is the p-Laplace operator, 1<p<N and p∗:=fracNpN−p is the critical Sobolev exponent

The paper deals with the existence of nonradial sign-changing solutions to a Dirichlet boundary value problem with \(p\)-Laplacian and critical Sobolev exponent on \(\mathbb R^N\). The result was known for \(p=2\).
