Quasilinear elliptic inequalities with nonlinear convolution terms and potentials of slow decay.
The authors deal with the nonlinear elliptic inequality \[-\Delta_mu+\frac\lambda{|x|^\gamma}u^{m-1}\ge(K*u^p)u^q\text{ in }\mathbb{R}^N\setminus\overline{B}_1,\quad\Delta_mu=\text{div}(|\nabla u|^{m-2}\nabla u),\ m>1.\] Firstly, they establish several conditions for the nonexistence of a positive weak solution together with some corollaries containing further conditions for the nonexistence. Moreover, they prove that their nonexistence result is optimal if the kernel \(K\) fulfils some asymptotic conditions for \(|x|\to\infty\). For the complementary condition with respect to \(K\) the authors establish the existence of a positive solution.
