Urysohn type Schurer operators
From MaRDI portal
Publication:2189575
Urysohn type operators are used frequently in approximation theory, with applications to signal-image reconstruction and mathematical physics. Definitions and results in this direction are presented in the Introduction. Then the authors construct the Urysohn type Schurer operators and obtain qualitative and quantitative results concerning their convergence. Shape preserving properties of these operators are also investigated.
