Sufficient conditions for a multidimensional system of periodic wavelets to be a frame

A multivariate periodic wavelet system with matrix dilation is studied in this paper. A sufficient condition for such a system to be a Bessel sequence is provided in terms of the Fourier coefficients of the functions that generate the system. As a consequence the author provides a construction of a pair of biorthogonal dual wavelet bases from a suitable trigonometric polynomial.
