Products of Toeplitz operators on the 2-analytic Bergman space
The authors provide a partial answer to Question~3 in [\textit{Ž. Čučković} and \textit{T. Le}, Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 44, No. 5, 961--973 (2012; Zbl 1257.47031)] which states the following. Let \(f\) and \(g\) be bounded functions, one of which is radial. If \(T_fT_g=0\) on \(A^2_n\) (or, more generally, \(T_fT_g\) has finite rank), must one of these functions be zero? Here, \(T_f\) (resp., \(T_g\)) stands for the Toeplitz operator with bounded symbol \(f\) (resp., \(g\)) and \(A_n^2\) is the set of functions on the unit disc and satisfying the generalized Cauchy-Riemann equation.
