Abstract: In this paper we show how Rank-Crank type PDE's (first found by Atkin and Garvan) occur naturally in the framework of non-holomorphic Jacobiforms and find an infinite family of such differential equations. As an application we show an infinite family of congruences for odd Durfee symbols, a partition statistic introduced by George Andrews.

\textit{A. O. L. Atkin} and \textit{F. G. Garvan} [Ramanujan J. 7, No. 1--3, 343--366 (2003; Zbl 1039.11069)] found a partial differential equation relating the rank and crank generating functions of partition theory. This paper shows how this result occurs naturally in the setting of certain non-holomorphic Jacobi forms, and extends it to an infinite family of related functions. An application derives an infinite family of congruences for odd Durfee symbols introduced by \textit{G. E. Andrews} [Invent. Math. 169, No. 1, 37--73 (2007; Zbl 1214.11116)].
