Abstract: We present a topological method of obtaining the existence of infinite number of symmetric periodic orbits for systems with reversing symmetry. The method is based on covering relations. We apply the method to a four-dimensional reversible map.

The aim of the article is to present a topological method allowing to establish by finite computation the existence of an infinite number of symmetric periodic orbits for dynamical systems with discrete time and reversing symmetry. The suggested method is applied to a four-dimensional reversible map.
