Abstract: The main purpose of the following article is to introduce a emph{Lie theoretical} approach to the problem of classifying pseudo quaternionic-K"ahler (QK) reductions of the pseudo QK symmetric spaces, otherwise called emph{generalized Wolf spaces}.
