Abstract: In this paper, we study the nonlocal Choquard equation -varepsilon^2 Delta u_varepsilon + V u_varepsilon= (I_alpha * |u_varepsilon|^p)|u_varepsilon|^{p-2}u_varepsilon where , is the Riesz potential of order and is a parameter. When the nonnegative potential achieves with a homogeneous behaviour or on the closure of an open set but remains bounded away from at infinity, we show the existence of groundstate solutions for small and exhibit the concentration behaviour as .
