The incorporation of the semi-implicit linear equations into Newton's method to solve radiation transfer equations

The author analyzes different methods to solve the radiation transfer equation. He indicates four algorithms to determine the next iterate \(T_{k+1}\) in Newton's method derived for the transfer equation by a photon free method. The algorithms presented in this paper are tested with numerical results on three known problems.
