S-paracompact spaces
From MaRDI portal

The author introduces a generalized notion of paracompactness; he calls a topological space \(S\)-paracompact if every open cover of the space has a locally finite semi-open refinement. \(S\)-paracompact spaces are characterized and their basic properties are studied. The value of the paper should be considered in the light of the well-known result of \textit{E. Michael} published in a series of papers in [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 4, 831--838 (1953; Zbl 0052.18701)], [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 8, 822--828 (1957; Zbl 0078.14805)],
