On the G-convergence of Morrey operators
Given \(A(x)\) any measurable symmetric \(2 \times 2\) matrix verifying \[ |\xi|^2 K^{-1} \leq \langle A(x) \xi, \xi\rangle \leq K |\xi|^2, \;\;a. e. \;x \in \Omega, \;\forall \xi \in \mathbb R^2, \] with \(\Omega \subset \mathbb R^2\) and any function \(u\in W^{1,2}(\Omega)\), one can associate another symmetric \(2\times 2 \) matrix valued function \(\tilde{A}(A, u)\) with \(\det(\tilde{A})=1\) and satisfying \[ |\xi|^2 K^{-1} \leq \langle \tilde{A}(x) \xi, \xi\rangle \leq K |\xi|^2, \;\;a.e. \;x \in \Omega, \;\forall \xi \in \mathbb R^2. \] The crucial property of \(\tilde{A}\) is that \(\tilde{A}\nabla u = A\nabla u,\) if \(\nabla u\neq 0\). In this paper it is shown that if \(A_n\) \(G-\)converges to \(A\), \(u_n\) weakly converges to \(u\) in \(W^{1,2}(\Omega),\) \(\nabla u \neq 0\) and div\((A_n \nabla u_n) =0,\) then \(\tilde{A}(A_n, u_n)\) \(G-\)converges to \(\tilde{A}(A, u).\)
