Review text

There are studied ECT-B-splines which are defined by general divided differences. In the case of a Shoenberg space the definition above reduces to the classical definition. If the suitable assumptions are given, this definition leads to a recursive method for computing the ECT-B-splines. There are constructed B-splines via generalized divided differences as well.
