Nachweis, daß jeder der beiden folgenden Sätze mit Hilfe des anderen bewiesen werden kann, indem man zu gegebenen \(F_i\) die \(f_i\) bzw. zu gegebenen \(f_i\) die \(F_i\) geeignet wählt: I. Wenn die Funktionen \(F_i(x_1,\ldots,x_n)\) (\(i=1,2,\ldots,n\)) in dem Würfel \[ \mathfrak W{:} \;|x_1|\leqq L_1,\ldots,\;|x_n|\leqq L \] stetig sind und die Ungleichungen \[ \begin{aligned} & F_i(x_1,\ldots,x_{i-1}, -L,x_{i+1},\ldots,x_n)\geqq 0,\\ & F_i(x_1,\ldots,x_{i-1}, L,x_{i+1},\ldots,x_n)\leqq 0\\ \end{aligned} \] befriedigen, gibt es in \(\mathfrak W\) mindestens ein Wertesystem \(\xi_1, \xi_2,\ldots,\xi_n\), so daß \[ F_i(\xi_1,\xi_2,\ldots,\xi_{n})=0 \qquad (i=1,2,\ldots,n). \] II. Wenn die Funktionen \(f_i(x_1,\ldots,x_n)\) (\(i=1,2,\ldots,n\)) im Würfel \(\mathfrak W\) stetig sind und dort die Ungleichungen \[ |f_i(x_1,\ldots,x_n)|\leqq L \] befriedigen, gibt es in \(\mathfrak W\) mindestens ein Wertesystem \(\xi_1, \xi_2,\ldots,\xi_n\), so daß \[ \xi_i=f_i(\xi_1,\xi_2,\ldots,\xi_n) \qquad (i=1,2,\ldots,n). \]
