Abstract: Given two numerical semigroups and and a positive integer , is said to be one over of if and in this case is called a -fold of . We prove that the minimal genus of the -folds of is , where and denote the genus and the Frobenius number of . The case is a problem proposed by Robles-P'erez, Rosales, and Vasco. Furthermore, we find the minimal genus of the symmetric doubles of and study the particular case when is almost symmetric. Finally, we study the Frobenius number of the quotient of some families of numerical semigroups.
