Abstract: Let denote the Eisenstein ideal in the Hecke algebra of the Drinfeld modular curve parameterizing Drinfeld modules of rank two over of general characteristic with Hecke level -structure, where is a non-zero prime ideal. We prove that the characteristic of the field does not divide the order of the quotient and the Eisenstein ideal is locally principal.
