Abstract: The character formula of any finite dimensional irreducible module $L_{l}ambda$ for Lie superalgebra $mathfrakosp(n|2)$ is computed. As a by-product, the decomposition of tensor module $L_{l}ambdaotimesmathbb{C}^{n|2}$, where $mathbb{C}^{n|2}$ is the natural representation, is obtained.
