Abstract: Let be a real number and be the -expansion of a point . For all , let be the set of accumulation points of as , where is the length of the basic interval of order containing . In this paper, we prove that is always a closed interval for any . Furthermore, if , the extremely irregular set containing points whose upper limit of equals to is residual, where is a constant depending on . As a consequence, the irregular set with whose limit of does not exist is residual for every .
