Complex G₂-manifolds and Seiberg-Witten equations
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: We introduce the notion of complex manifold , and complexification of a manifold . As an application we show the following: If is a closed oriented -manifold with a structure, and is an imbedding as an associative submanifold of some manifold (such imbedding always exists), then the isotropic associative deformations of in the complexified manifold is given by Seiberg-Witten equations.
