Ergodicity, mixing, rates of mixing (37A25) Algebraic ergodic theory, cocycles, orbit equivalence, ergodic equivalence relations (37A20) Dynamical systems of geometric origin and hyperbolicity (geodesic and horocycle flows, etc.) (37D40) Nonsingular (and infinite-measure preserving) transformations (37A40)
Abstract: Continuing the work in cite{ergodic-infinite}, we show that within each stratum of translation surfaces, there is a residual set of surfaces for which the geodesic flow in almost every direction is ergodic for almost-every periodic group extension produced using a technique referred to as emph{cuts}.
