Abstract: Let be a finite group of Lie type and a maximal torus of . In this paper we complete the study of the question of the existence of a complement for the torus in its algebraic normalizer . Namely, it is proved that any maximal torus of the group has a complement in its algebraic normalizer. We also answer the question for twisted classical groups and .
