Abstract: For the damped-driven KdV equation dot u-

u{u_{xx}}+u_{xxx}-6uu_x=sqrt

u eta(t,x), xin S^1, int u dxequiv inteta dxequiv0, with 0<ule1 and smooth in x white in t random force eta, we study the limiting long-time behaviour of the KdV integrals of motions (I1,I2,...), evaluated along a solution uu(t,x), as uo0. We prove that %if u=uu(t,x) is a solution of the equation above, for 0leau:=utlesssim1 the vector Iu(au)=(I1(uu(au,cdot)),I2(uu(au,cdot)),...), converges in distribution to a limiting process I0(au)=(I10,I20,...). The j-th component Ij0 equals 12(vj(au)2+vj(au)2), where v(au)=(v1(au),v1(au),v2(au),...) is the vector of Fourier coefficients of a solution of an {it effective equation} for the dam-ped-driven KdV. This new equation is a quasilinear stochastic heat equation with a non-local nonlinearity, written in the Fourier coefficients. It is well posed.
