Review text

The ring of global differential operators and the automorphism scheme of a variety is studied. Their relation is investigated and applied in particular to homogeneous schemes. Some criteria of homogeneity, a generalization of Serre-Lang theorem, and some consequences about abelian varieties are obtained.
