Abstract: Let be a Banach space with a separable dual. We prove that embeds isomorphically into a space whose dual is isomorphic to . If, moreover, is a space so that and are totally incomparable, then we construct such a , so that and are totally incomparable. If is separable and reflexive, we show that can be made to be somewhat reflexive.
