Maximum-correntropy-based sequential method for fast neural population activity reconstruction in the cortex from incomplete abnormally-disturbed noisy measurements
This article presents some recent research on the stochastic dynamic neural field (SDNF) equation of mathematical neuroscience. The authors use a state-space approach for the membrane potential reconstruction procedure adapted for the maximum correntropy criterion (MCC) filtering. With this, they develop ``distributionally robust pattern recognition and reconstruction methods within the MCC framework and the extended Kalman filter (EKF).
