Abstract: For a simple vertex operator algebra and a finite automorphism group of then is a direct sum of where are irreducible character of and is the subspace of which acts according to the character We prove the following: 1. Each is nonzero. 2. is a tensor product where is an irreducible -module affording and is a -module. If is solvable, is a simple -module and V_{chi}GV^GV.$
