In \(\mathrm{PG}(3, q^2)\) let \(\mathcal H\) denote a hermitian variety and \(\mathcal L\) be the set of lines of \(\mathrm{PG}(3, q^2)\) intersecting \(\mathcal H\) in \(q+1\) points.\N\NIn the paper under review, the authors classify the families of lines of \(\mathrm{PG}(3, q^2)\) that have the same incidence properties of \(\mathcal L\) with respect to points and planes of \(\mathrm{PG}(3, q^2)\).\N\NThey prove that these families are either \(\mathcal L\) or belong to a certain hypothetical family of line sets.
