The sum of elements of a finite group \(G\), was defined as a function, \[\psi(G)=\Sigma_{g\in G} |g|,\] by \textit{H. Amiri} et al. [Commun. Algebra 37, No. 9, 2978--2980 (2009; Zbl 1183.20022)]. Later, in many studies including [\textit{M. Herzog} et al., J. Math. Sci., New York 275, No. 6, 722--727 (2023; Zbl 1532.20030); translation from Itogi Nauki Tekh., Ser. Sovrem. Mat. Prilozh., Temat. Obz. 177, 74--79 (2020)], many interesting results were proved using this function. Define the average order as follows: \N\[o(G)=\frac{\psi(G)}{|G|}.\] \N\NHerzog et al. [loc. cit.; J. Algebra 511, 215--226 (2018; Zbl 1436.20034)] provided two criterion for solvability by average order. A characterization of \(A_{5}\) with the average order of its elements was proved independently by \textit{M. Herzog} et al. [J. Algebra 597, 1--23 (2022; Zbl 1487.20008)] and \textit{M. Tarnauceanu} [Int. J. Group Theory 14, No. 3, 117--123 (2025; Zbl 1553.20067)]. \N\NIn this paper, the author characterizes simple Suzuki group \(\mathrm{Sz}(8)\) by its average order.
