Relative tilting theory in abelian categories. II: n-X-tilting theory
The main aim of this paper is to develop a unified treatment for the study of tilting objects and cotorsion pairs in a broad range of contexts. The approach encompasses, but is not limited to, Auslander-Solberg's theory of relative tilting modules over Artin algebras, the representation theory of quivers, and the theory of infinitely generated tilting modules over arbitrary rings. This generalization is achieved by introducing the notion of relative (\(n\)-)tilting with respect to a suitably chosen class of objects or modules, subject to appropriate finiteness and structural conditions.
