Some inequalities for the numerical radius and spectral norm for operators in Hilbert C^-modules space
By considering \(\psi(|x|)\) instead of the norm \(\|x\|\) of an element of a Hilbert \(C^*\)-module over a commutative \(C^*\)-algebra \(\mathscr{A}\) and \(|x|=\langle x,x\rangle^{1/2}\), where \(\psi\) is a character on \(\mathscr{A}\), the author naturally reformulates many numerical radius inequalities involving adjointable operators on Hilbert \(C^*\)-modules. The author also introduces a notion of compact operators on Hilbert \(C^*\)-modules that should be compared with the standard notion in this setting. In addition, it is interesting that the results are formulated for general \(C^*\)-algebras.
