The authors establish explicit \(L^\infty\) a priori estimates for weak solutions to subcritical semilinear elliptic problems with nonlinear boundary conditions of the form\N\begin{align*}\N\begin{cases} -\Delta u + u =0 &\text{in }\Omega,\\\N\frac{\partial u}{\partial \eta}=f(x,u)&\text{on }\partial\Omega, \end{cases}\N\end{align*}\Nwhere \(\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^N\) (\(N>2\)) is a bounded domain with Lipschitz boundary \(\partial\Omega\), \(\partial / \partial \eta =\eta(x)\cdot \nabla\) is the outer normal derivative on the boundary \(\partial\Omega\) and \(f\colon\partial\Omega \times \mathbb{R}\to\mathbb{R}\) is a Carathéodory function with subcritical growth. The a priori bounds are given in terms of the powers of their \(H^1(\Omega)\) norms. The idea in the proof is to combine Moser-type estimates together with elliptic regularity as well as the Gagliardo-Nirenberg interpolation inequality. An application is given for subcritical problems fulfilling the Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz condition.
