Abstract: We consider the dynamical Gross-Pitaevskii (GP) hierarchy on Rd, dgeq1, for cubic, quintic, focusing and defocusing interactions. For both the focusing and defocusing case, and any dgeq1, we prove local existence and uniqueness of solutions in certain Sobolev type spaces cHxialpha of sequences of marginal density matrices. The regularity is accounted for by d=1,alpha>frac d2-frac{1}{2(p-1)} ifdgeq2and(d,p) eq(3,2),andalphageq1if(d,p)=(3,2),wherep=2forthecubic,andp=4forthequinticGPhierarchy;theparameterxi>0isarbitraryanddeterminestheenergyscaleoftheproblem.ThisresultincludestheproofofanapriorispacetimeboundconjecturedbyKlainermanandMachedonforthecubicGPhierarchyind=3.Inthedefocusingcase,weprovetheexistenceanduniquenessofsolutionsgloballyintimeforthecubicGPhierarchyfor1leq dleq3,andofthequinticGPhierarchyfor1leq dleq 2,inanappropriatespaceofSobolevtype,andundertheassumptionofanapriorienergybound.ForthefocusingGPhierarchies,weprovelowerboundsontheblowuprate.AlsopseudoconformalinvarianceisestablishedinthecasescorrespondingtoL^2$ criticality, both in the focusing and defocusing context.
