This paper proves that nonlocal operators associated with algebraically tempered stable processes generate analytic semigroups in \(L^p(\mathbb{R}^d)\) for all \(1 \leq p < \infty\). The authors extend previous results on exponentially tempered stable processes by considering Lévy measures of the form \(\nu(dr, du) = r^{-\alpha-1}(1 + r)^\kappa e^{-mr^\beta} \, dr \, \sigma(du)\). Using Fourier multiplier techniques, they show that the resulting semigroup remains analytic even when moments of the underlying process diverge.
