[For the entire collection see Zbl 0745.00053.] The author's main result can be formulated as follows. Let \(n\geq 2\). The \(xr\)-upper half plane equipped with the metric \[ (ds)^ 2=r^{2(n- 1)}e^{-(x^ 2+r^ 2)/4}\{(dx)^ 2+(dr)^ 2\} \] has at least one simple closed geodesic which is symmetric with respect to reflections on the \(r\)-axis.
