Similarity of a triangle and its derived triangle
From MaRDI portal
The authors consider a triangle \(T\) and divide the three sides at a fixed ratio \(\ r : (1-r)\) in a cyclical manner. The three division points define a new derived triangle denoted by the authors with \(T'\). They study when triangles \(T\) and \(T'\) are similar and present possible extensions.
