Simple continued fraction solutions for Diophantine equations
From MaRDI portal
Let \(n\) be an integer, and \(D\) be a nonsquare positive integer. The author uses new continued fraction expansions to determine the existence of and derive coprime fundamental solutions to \(x^2-Dy^2= n\).
