A three-dimensional problem of wave diffraction on an opaque wedge inserted without friction into an infinite two-component porous medium is solved. The respective plane problem has been solved by \textit{B. Mardonov} [ibid. 28, No.1, 60-68 (1973; Zbl 0263.73019)].
