The authors use the discrete time relaxation methods on Volterra-Runge-Kutta methods for solving large systems of second kind Volterra integral equations. Parallel relaxation methods realize parallelism ``across the space'' and so a massive parallelism. These methods are specially useful in solving large systems of Volterra integral equations. Consistency and convergence of these techniques are examined (under conditions on the stepsize). Numerical experiments are given that prove the efficiency of these methods.
