In this article, the author studies invariance theorems for different metrics, in the context of sharp constants in certain inequalities and limit theorems (relations) between them, e.g. in univariate weighted spaces. Invariance means in this paper invariance under continuous transformations with fixed points and within a compact topological group. The inequalities apply to polynomials and to entire functions of exponential type. The inequalities studied are uni- as well as multivariate. More precisely, the polynomials are defined on unit spheres and/or balls and the mentioned constants are also for entire functions of spherical (exponential) type. Examples are given using radial functions for instance.
