Given a homogeneous metric \(\tilde g\) on \({\mathbb{S}}^n\), the question about the existence and uniqueness of a non-positively curved conformally compact Einstein metric \(g\) on the unit ball \(B\) with \(({\mathbb{S}}^n, [\tilde g])\) as its conformal infinity is studied. Several results in special situations were obtained in previous papers. In the present paper, the uniqueness up to isometries of the conformally compact Einstein metric \(g\) is shown for a generalized Berger metric \(\tilde g\) on \({\mathbb{S}}^3\) close to a round metric. Also the uniqueness up to isometries of the non-positively curved conformally compact Einstein metric \(g\) is shown for an \({\mathrm{SU}}\)-invariant metric \(\tilde g\) on \({\mathbb{S}}^{2k+1}\) as its conformal infinity. Using a previous result, also the existence result in this situation is proved.
