The authors study a doubly parabolic chemotaxis system with a bounded tensor-valued sensitivity function and nonlinear diffusion term \(\Delta n^m\) \((m>1)\), coupled with the full Navier-Stokes system in bounded smooth two-dimensional domains. Under some regularity assmptions on the initial data, global in time existence of solutions is proved which shows that nonlinear diffusion prevents from blow-up in that general chemotaxis-fluid system.
