Given an open subset \(U\) of a Banach space \(E\), a subset \(B\) is said to be \(U\)-bounded if it is contained in \(U\) and has a positive distance from the boundary of \(U\). The space of all holomorphic functions from \(U\) into \({\mathbb C}\) which are bounded on \(U\)-bounded sets is denoted by \({\mathcal H}_b(U)\). This space is endowed with the topology of uniform convergence on \(U\)-bounded subsets of \(U\). The space of \(n\)-homogeneous polynomials on \(E\) is denoted by \({\mathcal P}(^nE)\). The author introduces the idea of \({\mathcal H}_b(U)\)-convexity by defining the \({\mathcal H}_b(U)\)-hull of a subset \(A\) of \(U\), \(\widehat A_{{\mathcal H}_b(U)}\), as the set of all \(x\) in \(E\) such that \(| f(x)| \leq\sup_{y\in A}| f(y)| \) for all \(f\) in \({\mathcal H}_b(U)\) and by saying that \(U\) is \({\mathcal H}_b(U)\)-convex if \(\widehat A_{{\mathcal H}_b(U)}\) is \(U\)-bounded for each \(U\)-bounded subset \(A\) of \(U\). She shows that for balanced domains, the concept of \({\mathcal H}_b(U)\)-convexity coincides with four other notions of convexity. A Banach space \(E\) is said to be Tsirelson-like if it is reflexive and, for each integer \(n\), the span of \(\{\varphi^n:\varphi\in E'\}\) is uniformly dense in \({\mathcal P}(^nE)\). It is shown that when \(U\) is a balanced \({\mathcal H}_b(U)\)-convex open subset of a Tsirelson-like space, then the spectrum of \({\mathcal H}_b(U)\) (the set of all nonzero multiplicative linear functionals on \({\mathcal H}_b(U)\)) can be identified with \(U\). Using this result, the author then shows that when \(U\) and \(V\) are balanced \({\mathcal H}_b\)-domains of holomorphy in reflexive Banach spaces \(E\) and \(F\), one of which is Tsirelson-like, then \({\mathcal H}_b(U)\) and \({\mathcal H}_b(V)\) are isomorphic as topological algebras if and only if there is a biholomorphic mapping \(\varphi\) of \(U\) onto \(V\) such that both \(\varphi\) and \(\varphi^{-1}\) map \(U\)-bounded sets to \(U\)-bounded sets. Given a positive integer \(n\), the idea of \({\mathcal P}(^nE)\) convexity of subsets of \(E\) is defined in an analogous fashion to \({\mathcal H}_b(U)\)-convexity. It is shown that when \(K\) and \(L\) are balanced compact subsets of Tsirelson-like Banach spaces \(E\) and \(F\), \(K\) is \({\mathcal P}(^nE)\)-convex, and \(L\) is \({\mathcal P}(^lF)\) convex, then the algebras of holomorphic germs \({\mathcal H}(K)\) and \({\mathcal H}(L)\) are isomorphic if and only if \(K\) and \(L\) are biholomorphically equivalent. These final two results generalise results of the author obtained in [\textit{D. M. Vieira}, Math. Proc. R. Ir. Acad. 106A, No. 1, 97--113 (2006; Zbl 1134.46021)] for balanced convex domains.
