A simple proof of a result of Abramovich and Wickstead (Q2496101)

Let \(K\) be a quasi-Stonean space and let \(CD_0(K)=C(K)\oplus c_0(K)\), where \(c_0(K) = \{f:K \rightarrow \mathbb R:\{x:| f(x)| >\varepsilon\}\) is finite for each \(\varepsilon>0\}\). The authors give an easier proof of a result of \textit{Yu. A. Abramovich} and \textit{A. W. Wickstead} [Indiana Univ. Math. J. 45, No. 3, 709--720 (1996; Zbl 0885.46014)] that describes the structure of positive surjective isometries of \(CD_0(K)\).
