The author considers the problem of adaptive servocompensation of unknown bounded external disturbances for a class of nonlinear systems in normal form. When the unknown disturbance does not contain unmodeled components, the proposed adaptive regulator provides global asymptotic stability. If the disturbance contains unmodeled components, the proposed regulator provides boundedness of all the closed-loop signals and arbitrarily small tracking errors. The problem was solved by means of the direct Lyapunov method.
