In this short note the author studies arrangements consisting of smooth conics in the complex projective plane such that they admit certain \(\mathrm{ADE}\) singularities. There are two nice results contained in the paper, the first one can be considered as a Hirzebruch-type inequality for a certain class of conic arrangements. Theorem A. Let \(\mathcal{C}\) be an arrangement of \(k\geq 3\) smooth conics in \(\mathbb{P}^{2}_{\mathbb{C}}\) admitting \(n_{2}\) nodes, \(t_{2}\) tacnodes, \(n_{3}\) ordinary triple, \(t_{5}\) singular points of type \(A_{5}\) and \(t_{7}\) singular points of type \(A_{7}\). Then the following inequality holds \[ 560 k + 100 n_2 + 75 n_3 \geq 608 t_7 + 404 t_5 + 184 t_2. \] As a consequence of this result, the author provides the following upper-bounds on the number of \(A_{5}\) or \(A_{7}\) singularities for conic arrangements admitting certain \(\mathrm{ADE}\)-singularities -- to be precise, the author assumes that arrangements can have double or triple ordinary intersections plus \(A_{5}\) and \(A_{7}\) singularities. Corollary A. Let \(\mathcal{C}\) be an arrangement of \(k\geq 3\) smooth conics in the plane admitting \(A_{5}\) and \(A_{7}\) singularities. Then we have the following bounds: \[ t_{5} \leq \frac{25}{88}k^{2}+\frac{45}{88}k, \] \[ t_{7} \leq \frac{25}{126}k^{2}+\frac{5}{14}k. \]
