Weighted index-MP matrices
The authors solve some special types of systems of matrix equations, using some special matrices that they call generalizations of index-MP, MP-index and MP-index-MP-matrices. The generalization consists in introducing novel types of rectangular matrices, called weighted index-MP, weighted MP and weighted MP-index matrices, instead of traditional square matrices. The authors propose some characterizations and expressions for new kinds of matrices, as well as canonical forms of weighted index-MP, weighted MP-index and weighted MP-index-MP matrices. They apply then these matrices to solving some special systems of linear matrix equations and representing solutions of these systems.
