Weyl transforms associated with a singular second-order differential operator
Weyl theory and its generalizations for ordinary differential equations (34B20) General harmonic expansions, frames (42C15) Other transforms and operators of Fourier type (43A32) General theory of ordinary differential operators (47E05) Pseudodifferential operators (47G30) Phase-space methods including Wigner distributions, etc. applied to problems in quantum mechanics (81S30)
The authors define and study the Weyl transforms \(W_{\sigma }\) associated with a class of singular second-order differential operators, where \(\sigma \) is a symbol in \(S^m\) (\(m\in \mathbb R\)), which is the proper subset of all infinitely differentiable functions in \(\mathbb R\times \mathbb R\).
