Based on an embedding of the lattice of \(A_3^8\) into the Leech lattice, the authors give a complete decomposition of the moonshine vertex operator algebra with respect to the subalgebra isomorphic to the tensor algebra of a copy of the Virasoro vertex operator algebra of central charges \(1/2\), \(7/10\), \(4/5\), respectively, with 8 copies of the Virasoro vertex operator algebra of central charge 1.
