First-order hyperbolic pseudodifferential equations with generalized symbols (Q1827066): Difference between revisions

This paper studies the existence and uniqueness of a generalized solution to the scalar hyperbolic pseudodifferential Cauchy problem \[ \partial_t u+A(t,x,D_x)u=f, \quad t\in (0,T), \qquad u(0)=g \] where \(f\) and \(g\) are Colombeau generalized functions and \(A\) is a generalized pseudodifferential operator of order 1. Under additional assymptions on the symbol and data regularity, the author is able to draw some conclusions about the solution regularity.
